Coming May 22nd & 23rd

We’re excited to announce a special event on May 22nd (6-8pm) and 23rd (9am-3pm) called “The C.S. Lewis  Option for Renewing Christendom” presented by Annie Crawford, in partnership with the C.S. Lewis Institute.

Annie will discuss C. S. Lewis’ contribution to preserving ancient Christian wisdom, especially its sacramental vision of reality in Christ. Annie will show how Lewis has been and should continue to be a key resource for directing us towards those rich resources in our Christian heritage that help us navigate our way during these confused and disoriented times. Annie Crawford is a scholar and speaker whose work engages C.S. Lewis, Christian imagination, and cultural renewal. She is known for making Lewis’s thought accessible, compelling, and pastorally grounded for contemporary audiences.

Session Topics

Session 1: Follow the Ancient Paths: Logos and the Recovery of Truth
C. S. Lewis believed that renewal begins by submitting ourselves to reality as it truly is—by recovering the wisdom of old books, classical philosophy, and the permanent things that anchor truth beyond the fashions of the age.

Session 2: Awakening the Imagination: Myth, Meaning, and the Shape of Reality
Lewis and the Inklings show that truth must be imagined to be understood, It is through metaphors and stories that we restore our ability to perceive meaning, value, and beauty in a disenchanted world.

Session 3: Truth Made Flesh: Obedience, Faithfulness, and the Christian Life
Lewis’s own conversion and witness reveal that renewal ultimately takes shape not in ideas alone but in lived obedience, where belief becomes visible in faithfulness, humility, and daily practice.
